Another day, another song ..

The sight of sunshine,
Shining through the morning dew ..
The sight so divine,
As the day grew ..

Greeted her with a song,
I wish it was with a kiss ..
It won't be too long,
I hope, for I miss the bliss ..

Looking towards east,
Hoping you'd arrive ..
The song I start to sing,
Starts to give me peace ..
I know I'm no Mozart,
But who do I have to please ?
The sun transits to the west,
I think, another day to survive ..

Singing until the sun set,
Singing I love you ..
But that was just an octet,
Just another song for you ..

My lips part to yawn,
And moonlight kissing my tongue ..

Riding under the sky so blue,

Looking east, towards the moon,
Waking up from its splendid slumber,
Showering my sight with her beautiful smile,
I wonder why I can't get closer ..

Its never too cold,
The rain never hard,

Waiting for you to come up the horizon,
The bright starts I accompany ..
Singing songs of joy,
Just hoping you'd listen ..

For some it might sound like the wolves,
For some like the flutes ..

The last leaf ..

When you were dying girl,
You never looked elsewhere ..
But at the seed you planted,
Grown into life, flowers everywhere ..

You lived together,
You could relate to each other ..
The plant turned out bright,
Like it grew from your beautiful smile ..

Folks call you this,
Friends called you that ..
You responded to both,
You thought you both were called life ..

Autumn's never a good time to go out,
You could feel for the flowers outside ..
But yourself never cared to go in,
And that made you lie sick inside ..

The leaves had begun to fall,
The less you began to speak ..
The breeze was getting colder,
The circles under your eyes darker ..
Almost like you were wishing aloud,
From the tears streaming from your eyes,
That when the last leaf falls,
Everybody calls you dead ..

That night was rough,
The rain hard ..
No moon to smile at us,
No stars to smile at ..

All you could manage was a wink or two,
All leaves fallen but a few ..
And before long,
All that were left were two ..

As another leaf drifts downward,
Your memories get clearer ..
You could see the smiles,
You could feel yourself smile ..
The people you loved,
And people who loved back ..
You wanted to share life again,
With the last leaf ..

The rain must have been weak,
Or the leaf strong, you wondered,
But when it was daybreak,
You couldn't wait to run to feel it ..
You never felt better,
You could feel the sickness break ..
You wanted to live forever,
Feel that life no storm can take ..

You must have felt the plain white wall,
On it painted a little green leaf ..
It has been my only masterpiece,
I now live with the last leaf ..

Dragons & Tea

When we meet up,
Never when I'm by myself ..
The same way you come,
The same way you go ..
The things we speak,
The things you hear,
Are no different,
From what I've heard ..

Dragons and tea is what I think about,
Sometimes I wonder what it was all about ..
But then, it always made perfect sense,
And now, nothing seems to have changed at all ..

We plot a thievery,
We plot an assassination ..
It never dawned,
It was right round the corner ..
We plan mass bunk,
We plan world peace ..
We discuss life,
As it is meant to be ..

Lets get another drink !
Can you light the smoke for me ?
You got some change on you ?
Shall I light the smoke for you ?

We're gonna do good ..
We might as well plan of Rome,
But for now, I'll see you get home ..
