Confused !

I'd like to walk away,
But not go too far away ..
Maybe I should stay at the same place,
Maybe I should increase my pace ..

I stay awake in bed all night,
Listening to the sounds the clock doesn't make ..
My thoughts all wandering out of turn,
About the dreams that never come ..

Only sorrow ...with the thought of tomorrow.....do i beg or borrow....the option gets narrow....

tick tock tick tock...move a little faster mr clock...need to get out of this block !

the end is yet far, nowhere near..... all is foggy, nothing clear

the old bucket thrown away.....does the new one hold water?

RED-SKIN, n. A North American Indian, whose skin is not red -- at least not on the outside.

CONTROVERSY, n. A battle in which spittle or ink replaces the injurious cannon-ball and the inconsiderate bayonet.

FAMOUS, adj. Conspicuously miserable.

YEAR, n. A period of three hundred and sixty-five disappointments.

TAKE, v.t. To acquire, frequently by force but preferably by stealth.

DANCE, v.i. To leap about to the sound of tittering music, preferably with arms about your neighbor's wife or daughter. There are many kinds of dances, but all those requiring the participation of the two sexes have two characteristics in common: they are conspicuously innocent, and warmly loved by the vicious.

BEAUTY, n. The power by which a woman charms a lover and terrifies a husband.

CIRCUS, n. A place where horses, ponies and elephants are permitted to see men, women and children acting the fool.

CRITIC, n. A person who boasts himself hard to please because nobody tries to please him.

DAWN, n. The time when men of reason go to bed. Certain old men prefer to rise at about that time, taking a cold bath and a long walk with an empty stomach, and otherwise mortifying the flesh. They then point with pride to these practices as the cause of their sturdy health and ripe years; the truth being that they are hearty and old, not because of their habits, but in spite of them. The reason we find only robust persons doing this thing is that it has killed all the others who have tried it.

MAD, adj. Affected with a high degree of intellectual independence.

LOVE, n - A temporary insanity curable by marriage or by removal of the patient from the influences under which he incurred the disorder. This disease, like caries and many other ailments, is prevalent only among civilized races living under artificial conditions; barbarous nations breathing pure air and eating simple food enjoy immunity from its ravages. LAUGHTER, n. An interior convulsion, producing a distortion of the features and accompanied by inarticulate noises. It is infectious and, though intermittent, incurable. Liability to attacks of laughter is one of the characteristics distinguishing man from the animals -- these being not only inaccessible to the provocation of his example, but impregnable to the microbes having original jurisdiction in bestowal of the disease. Whether laughter could be imparted to animals by inoculation from the human patient is a question that has not been answered by experimentation. Dr. Meir Witchell holds that the infection character of laughter is due to the instantaneous fermentation of sputa diffused in a spray. From this peculiarity he names the disorder Convulsio spargens.

LIFE, n. A spiritual pickle preserving the body from decay. We live in daily apprehension of its loss; yet when lost it is not missed. The question, "Is life worth living?" has been much discussed; particularly by those who think it is not, many of whom have written at great length in support of their view and by careful observance of the laws of health enjoyed for long terms of years the honors of successful controversy.

ABNORMAL, adj. Not conforming to standard. In matters of thought and conduct, to be independent is to be abnormal, to be abnormal is to be detested. Wherefore the lexicographer adviseth a striving toward the straiter resemblance of the Average Man than he hath to himself. Whoso attaineth thereto shall have peace, the prospect of death and the hope of Hell.
